Joe Rogan has sensationally threatened to quit his $200 million Spotify podcast.
Months after many celebs called for a boycott of the popular podcast over Rogan’s racial slurs and Covid-19 comments, it appears the 54-year-old is becoming increasingly concerned about cancel culture.
Rogan’s controversial comments regarding Covid-19 caused Neil Young to leave Spotify and many others to follow suit. The backlash even caused Spotify’s stock to plummet by 25%.
On a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, MMA fighter Josh Barnett revealed he would be judged for ‘every little thing’ he said during the show.
Rogan responded:
“If I become something different because it grew bigger, I will quit. If it gets to a point that I can’t do it anymore, where I have to do it in some sort of weird way where I walk on eggshells and mind my p’s and q’s, f*** that,”

Rogan first signed with Spotify in 2020 for $100 million. With about a year left to complete his contract, the show is now worth double that.
