Psychologist Dr Dawn Hughes took to the stand during the defamation trial and testified that Johnny Depp forced Amber Heard to perform oral sex on him.
Dr Hughes, who examined the actress for many hours, has made shocking statements while on the stand. She has claimed that Depp would do horrific things during his ‘drug-fuelled rages.’
The clinical and forensic psychologist claimed:
“When Mr. Depp was drunk or high, he’d throw her on the bed, rip off her nightgown, and try to have sex with her,”
“There were times when he forced her to give him oral sex when he was angry. These weren’t in loving moments. These were angry moments.”
“These were moments of dominance, moments where he was trying to get control of her.”
Dr Hughes added:
“Even though she yelled and hit him and said some terrible things to him, it was never able to shift the balance of power in the relationship,”
“If he was not able to perform he would get more angry at her and blame her.”

Depp launched the defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard in 2019, after the Aquaman star described herself as a victim of domestic abuse in a 2018 article she penned in The Washington Post.
Heard never mentioned Depp by name but the actor argued that the article she wrote tarnished his reputation and ultimately his acting career.
