Psychologist Dr Dawn Hughes testified on Tuesday that Johnny Depp performed a ‘cavity search’ on Amber Heard when he thought the actress was hiding cocaine in her vagina.

Depp launched a defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard in 2019, after the Aquaman star described herself as a victim of domestic abuse in a 2018 article she penned in The Washington Post.

Heard never mentioned Depp by name but the actor argued that the article she wrote tarnished his reputation and ultimately his acting career.

Dr Hughes was the first witness to take the stand on behalf of Amber Heard on Tuesday.

Not only did Hughes claim that during her medical examinations of Heard she concluded that the actress was a victim of sexual and physical violence allegedly caused by Depp, but she also spoke about the actor violating Heard in a truly horrific way.

She spoke about an alleged incident where Depp accused Heard of “a women hitting on Amber”, Hughes goes on to say “…and that was the problem. Amber got accused of women hitting on her and got accused of men hitting on her.”

She continued:

“But on that incident when Kelly-Sue was accused of hitting on Miss Heard and they went back into a trailer Mr Depp performed a cavity search and ostensibly was looking for drugs and felt it acceptable to rip off her night gown and stick his fingers in her vagina to look for cocaine [he] thought that Miss Heard was hiding’

Hughes also testified that Johnny Depp ‘kicked’ Amber Heard over his ‘James Franco jealousy’.
