Johnny Depp’s could be seen smirking when Amber Heard’s Lawyers accused him of being obsessed with Elon Musk.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor launched a defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard in 2019, after the Aquaman star described herself as a victim of domestic abuse in a 2018 article she penned in The Washington Post.
In response to this, Heard filed a counterclaim for defamation, with a judge ruling that the star could use a defence where her lawyers will argue she is deserving of immunity.
According to Deadline, the Tesla CEO has been pulled into the case because Depp accused him of having an affair with his ex-wife.
The actor appeared to mask a smirk during Heard’s side’s opening statement in the case. Heard’s lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft, told the jury of 11 people that:
“Johnny Depp is obsessed with Elon Musk”.

The couple were married between 2015 and 2017. In November 2021, Depp lost a libel case against News Group Newspapers after The Sun labeled him a “wife beater”.
