Johnny Depp Surprises Fans with Impromptu Performance After Defamation Trial

Johnny Depp surprised fans with an impromptu performance over the weekend after the defamation trial.

The Depp and Amber Heard trial came to an end last week, with both legal teams resting their cases.

While the jury deliberate the evidence, the Pirates of the Caribbean star surprised fans across the pond.

Depp shocked fans by joining Jeff Beck on stage at Sheffield City Hall.

One fan posted a clip with the caption:

“Wasn’t expecting this… I thought he was in court but turns out he’s in Sheffield with Jeff Beck.”

Depp and Beck covered John Lennon’s hit Isolation, a song they had previously released together.

They also sang What’s Going On by Marvin Gaye and Little Wing by Jimi Hendrix.

CourtTV revealed that although fans were shocked to see the actor, his appearance was planned for some time. They said:

“Mr. Depp is in the United Kingdom, as he was a few weeks ago, to adhere to his previously scheduled work obligations.”

A verdict on the defamation trial is due on Tuesday 31 May.
