Kim Kardashian’s daughter, North West, has been making waves on social media for her impressive artwork.
The nine-year-old’s oil paintings and drawings of her famous family members have earned her the title of “art prodigy” from fans online.
Most recently, North’s detailed sketch of rapper Ice Spice was shared on Instagram by her proud mother, Kim Kardashian.
The post has since gone viral and even caught the attention of the rapper herself, who shared the TikTok video on her Instagram story.
Kim has also shared other pieces of her daughter’s artwork on social media, including drawings of her grandmother Kris and younger brother, Psalm West. However, this isn’t the first time North’s talent has been met with criticism.
Back in 2021, the little girl was targeted by online trolls after Kim shared a Bob Ross-style oil painting North had done. Mean-spirited comments about her artwork flooded social media, with some accusing the Kardashians of “faking” the painting.
Kim was quick to defend her daughter, taking to Instagram to explain that North had been taking a serious oil painting class and had worked incredibly hard on her painting. She called out the “grown adult[s]” who had targeted her daughter and asked them to stop “embarrassing” themselves with negativity.
Despite the criticism, North’s artistic talent has continued to impress fans online, with many calling her an “art prodigy.” It’s clear that she has a bright future ahead of her in the art world.
