Last night we received news that a terrible tragedy had taken place at Astroworld festival.
Eight people have tragically died at the festival during Travis Scott’s performance, leaving hundreds of others injured.
A huge crowd surge occurred at 9pm on Friday during the opening night of the festival in Houston, Texas.
The surge caused hundreds of people to be crushed, as the crowd pushed towards the stage.
Astroworld Festival has now been canceled, and Houston Police have set up a missing persons site for families still looking for loved ones.
“A COMMAND POST FOR INFORMATION ON MISSING PERSONS AT #ASTROWORLD HAS BEEN SET UP AT 8686 KIRBY (KIRBY AT 610 LOOP) – THE WYNDHAM HOTEL. IF YOU NEED INFORMATION ON A LOVED ONE THAT HAS NOT BEEN LOCATED PLEASE PROCEED TO THAT ADDRESS,” IT WROTE ON TWITTER.
At the festival was Kylie Jenner, watching her partner Travis Scott on stage as the tragedy happened.
Jenner has been criticized for uploading a number of videos at the festival, with one showing the flashing lights of paramedics carrying victims.

One tweeted: “omg i literally can’t, kylie posted an instagram story of the concert and you can CLEARLY SEE THE PARAMEDICS TRYING TO GET THROUGH LIKE WTF.”
I know it’s not her fault, but Kylie Jenner storying this video at #ASTROWORLDFest as a literal EMT car rolls thru the crowd as the show continues on is so incredibly dystopian pic.twitter.com/7Dx6t0Tqzp

Other have defended the 24-year-old claiming she probably didn’t know what was going on while she filmed the scenes.
Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by the tragedy at Astroworld.
