Leah Remini calls out Tom Cruise for ‘his crimes against humanity’ over his role in the Church of Scientology.
Cruise’s latest movie is soaring to success at the movie theatre but Cruise himself has been accused of ‘crimes against humanity’.
Remini, who was formerly a scientologist herself, has shared her negative experience with the church and has called out Cruise too.
The King of Queens star and her husband Marc filed a court case against the Church of Scientology back in 2009, claiming that the organisation violated human trafficking laws as well as people’s human rights.
The courts decided that the Church was protected by ‘ministerial exemption’ – a legal doctrine in law which safeguards religious institutions and the case was dismissed.
Thank you to my friend @claireheadley for your courage.
You have continued to speak out despite the non-stop attacks from Scientology.
And as Claire says in her post below, Tom Cruise knows exactly what goes on in Scientology.

The post she shared, stating:
“Glad all you Top Gun fans are enjoying the new movie. Personally, recent posts about this movie only serve to remind me of Tom Cruise and his crimes against humanity.”
“Tom Cruise promotes a dangerous cult that destroyed my family too, the same cult that almost cost me my marriage and my life.
“The same cult that forced me to have two abortions, and which I fled from in 2005 with the clothes on my back and $200 in my pocket, to which they tracked me down, across state lines, to attempt to prevent my escape.”
Cruise converted to the Church in 1986.
