LeBron James Appears to Cover Adidas Logo on His Team Shirt


LeBron James appeared to cover up the Adidas logo on his team shirt at the Drew League game at the weekend.

The athlete has long been a fan of the brand, having been in the middle of a bidding war between Nike, Adidas and Reebok at the early age of 18-years-old.

All three companies wanted to make him the face of their brand before he entered the NBA in 2003.

He choose Nike after receiving amazing deal from the brand. This ended up being a lifelong partnership.

According to Uproxx, the jerseys that the players wore during the Drew League game were sponsored by Adidas and it seems that the legend covered up the competitors logo.

In a seemingly loyal move and to show his dedication to Nike, the 37-year-old NBA star covered up the company logo to play.

The game day NBA said:

“If you didn’t notice LeBron has the Adidas logo blocked out on his Jersey… ‘Checks over stripes’.”
