Lil Nas X has hilariously decided he is ‘no longer gay’ after losing out at the Grammys.

The rapper was nominated in five categories but sadly walked away empty handed, causing him to joke that he’d had more success at the Grammys with songs he released prior to coming out of the closet. He tweeted:

‘Can’t believe i lost all my grammys. i am not no longer gay!’

The 22-year-old rapper walked away with two Grammys for his viral smash Old Town Road in 2020 – before he came out as gay.

At this years event, he was nominated for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Melodic Rap Performance, and Best Music Video, for his album Montero and the single of the same name – but sadly lost out each time.

The rapper made it on to the stage however, to perform a medley of his hits including Dead Right now, Montero (Call Me By Your Name) and Industry Baby.
