As the drama heats up in the Love Island villa, we’re starting to learn more about the contestants.
Last night we found out why the much-loved Liam suddenly left the show, and today some juicy gossip about Luca has emerged.
The 23-year-old Brighton-based fishmonger had a famous girlfriend before he entered the villa as a singleton.
Luca had a brief but unsuccessful relationship with famous influencer Saffron Barker and star of Strictly Come Dancing in 2019.
Speaking about the relationship, Luca said:
“I think she had just come out of a relationship
“And then yeah, that was it. We just kind of hit the ground running a bit.”
“We still remain really good mates. I see her as a good friend.”
The pair apparently split up due to having very different lifestyles.
Let’s hope he finds his true love on Love Island.
