At the 65th Grammy Awards, Madonna introduced Sam Smith and Kim Petras on stage, where the duo won the award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

The legend has accused bad camera angles and a ‘long lens camera’ for causing the trouble. She wrote:

There really was no reason. She was going to age beautifully. She’s always been beautiful.” A third said, “Was that the Madame Tussauds Madonna? Her face looks waxy.”

In response to these criticisms, Madonna took to Instagram to call out the larger issue of ageism and misogyny in society.
She pointed out that the world refuses to celebrate women over the age of 45, and instead, punishes them for being strong-willed, hard-working, and adventurous.
Madonna wrote, “Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny that permeates the world we live in.”
She added, “I have never apologized for any of the creative choices I have made nor the way that I look or dress, and Iām not going to start. I have been degraded by the media since the beginning of my career, but I understand that this is all a test and I am happy to do the trailblazing so that all the women behind me can have an easier time in the years to come.”
In her message, Madonna quoted BeyoncĆ©, “You-wonāt break my soul,” and ended her post with the lyrics, “Bow down b***hes.”
The singer emphasized that she would continue to push boundaries, stand up to the patriarchy, and enjoy her life for many more years to come.
