Marvel Actress Zara Phythian Found Guilty of Child Sex Abuse

An actress who featured in Dr Strange has been found guilty of child sex abuse.

Zara Phythian, who played a Zealot alongside Benedict Cumberbatch and Mads Mikkelsen in the hit film, faces jail time for sexually abusing a girl, aged 13 over a period of three years, as well as a second victim.

Phythian’s husband, Victor Marke, has also been convicted for four counts of indecently assaulting another girl, as well as the victim.

The victim claims the abuse started when she was just 13, between 2005 and 2008.

The couple were also found guilty of abusing a different girl in 2002 and 2003.

The Hollywood actress, 36, and her Taekwondo ‘master’ husband, 59, were found guilty of 14 historic counts of sexual activity with the victim.

The couple have denied all charges brought against them, however, a jury found them guilty after the trial which took place at Nottingham Crown Court.

They held hands in court awaiting the jury’s verdict, Pythian had a look of horror on her face when the guilty verdict was announced.

The couple met when the actress was a child herself, at 14 and Marke was 37. They started a sexual relationship at the ages of 19 and 42.
