Mel Gibson got cut off when asked about Will Smith slap on Fox News.
Will Smith very publicly slapped Chris Rock after he made an insensitive remark about Jada Pinkett Smith, comparing her to G.I Jane, at the Oscars last week. Jada has been open about her struggles with alopecia and didn’t appreciate being used as the punchline.
In the wake of this incident, Smith has since apologized to Rock, the Academy and his fellow nominees.
Gibson appeared on Fox News chatting with Jesse Watters about his upcoming movie Father Stu. Watters decided to ask the actor his thoughts on Will Smith’s actions, he asked:
“I was wondering if you had been the one that jumped up out of his seat and slapped Chris Rock,”
“if you would’ve been treated the same way, Mel.”
To which the 66-year-old never replied with words but instead pulled a series of bizarre faces, laughed nervously, seemingly waving the question away, meanwhile Gibson’s handler piped up saying “Hello, Jessie? Thank you. That’s our time.”

Watters wouldn’t accept no answer however and attempted to get Gibson to respond, but his handler once again cut him off.
Yikes…
