Cyrus has made it clear that she has no intention of embarking on another tour, effectively ruling out a headline tour in support of her latest album, Endless Summer Vacation.
The 30-year-old singer, known for hits like “Flowers,” last went on a world tour in 2014 for her album Bangerz.
In an interview with British Vogue, Miley candidly expressed her lack of desire to pursue another headline tour. She shared, “After the last [headline tour] I did, I kind of looked at it as more of a question… And I can’t.” Miley emphasized that it’s not just about capability but also about her personal desire. She asked herself, “Do I want to live my life for anyone else’s pleasure or fulfillment other than my own?”
Explaining her preference for a more intimate setting, Miley revealed that she enjoys singing for her family and friends. She expressed her discontent with large-scale performances, stating, “Like, singing for hundreds of thousands of people isn’t really the thing that I love. There’s no connection. There’s no safety.” She further elaborated, “It’s also not natural. It’s so isolating because if you’re in front of 100,000 people, then you are alone.”
Recently, Miley released the music video for her song “Jaded.” The visually stunning video features Miley frolicking in various swimsuits and even going topless against the backdrop of a dreamy landscape. Throughout the song, she sings about regret from a past relationship with the lyrics, “We went to Hell, but we never came back, I’m sorry that you’re jaded.” Miley’s toned figure and tattoos are showcased as she dons a metallic gold one-piece swimsuit, a black swimsuit with provocative cutouts, and a bedazzled black bra.
