Paul Pelosi, husband of U.S House Speak Nancy Pelosi, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to a misdemeanor count of DUI.
The charge stems from a May car crash near a wine-country Napa valley. Responding officers said they found Pelosi in the driver’s seat of a crashed 2021 Porsche.
The CHP reported Pelosi was “unsteady on his feet, his speech was slurred, and he had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage.”
Pelosi served two days in jail of his five day sentence.
