During a recent episode of his radio show, “The Daily Cannon,” Nick Cannon confessed to a mishap that occurred on Mother’s Day when he mistakenly mixed up the personalized cards he had written for the six mothers of his 12 children.

Cannon, known for hosting “Wild ‘n Out,” expressed his intentions to convey his genuine feelings through the heartfelt messages he penned for each mother. However, his well-meaning gesture took an unexpected turn when he accidentally sent a card intended for one woman to another. Reflecting on the situation, Cannon admitted, “I tried my best, I really did. I thought it would be really, really good… to show people how you really feel ― write it down.” He acknowledged that the mix-up could have been avoided had he opted for generic cards like everyone else.

While the comedian didn’t disclose which of the mothers received the wrong card, it was apparent that his co-host on “The Daily Cannon,” Abby De La Rosa, was not the recipient, as she appeared surprised upon learning about the blunder.

Cannon and De La Rosa are parents to 2-year-old twins Zion and Zillion, as well as their infant daughter, Beautiful Zepplin.

In addition to De La Rosa, Cannon shares parenting responsibilities with Brittany Bell, Bre Tiesi, Alyssa Scott, LaNisha Cole, and his ex-wife, Mariah Carey. With Carey, he has 12-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan. Cannon also has children named Golden Sagon (6), Powerful (2), Rise (4 months) with Bell; Halo (2 months) with Scott; and Legendary (7 months) with Tiesi. He tragically lost his son Zen to brain cancer in 2021 when Zen was just 5 months old.

This incident isn’t the first time Cannon’s extensive family dynamic has drawn criticism.

Recently, he faced backlash on social media after unintentionally omitting his daughter Onyx while listing all his children during an appearance on “The Howard Stern Show.”

Cannon clarified that the omission occurred because Stern interrupted him while he was reciting the names of his offspring.

During an interview on Revolt’s “The Jason Lee Show,” Cannon explained, “Howard messed me up. He interrupted me as I was going in order. If you want the God’s honest truth, my beautiful daughter Onyx, that’s probably the child that I spend the most time with.”

Navigating the complexities of a large blended family can undoubtedly present challenges and occasional mishaps. However, it is evident that Nick Cannon deeply cares for his children and strives to celebrate their mothers, even if a mix-up in cards occasionally occurs.
