Only 1% of people can spot the second tiger in the following optical illusion…

Who doesn’t love an optical illusion? Great workout for your brain, gets the cogs moving.

Well, apparently if you can spot the second tiger in the following image, you are the smartest of the smartypants.

Feast your eyes and prepare to be frustrated:

According to The Sun, the second hidden tiger is basically impossible to find and not many people can do it.

The publication writes that these kinds of optical illusion tests are a great way for researchers to understand just how our brains work.

In 2017, University of Sydney scientists Kim Ransley and Alex O. Holcombe wrote that:

‘visual illusions show us that we do not have direct access to reality. They can also provide an inkling of the mental processing that delivers our experience of the viewable world.’

‘Indeed, it is the processing happening inside our brains that is the basis for many illusions.’

‘Rather than delivering information from our eyes in nearly raw form as a camera would, the brain tries to determine what is actually out there.’

‘When the information entering the eye is ambiguous, the brain must make educated guesses.’

*Spoiler alert*

If you look closely at the animals torso and at the stripes…you might notice some words spelled out.

That’s right…you’re welcome.
