Pamela Anderson has responded following Tim Allen denying that he flashed her when she was 23.
Anderson, who made her television debut on the hit ABC sitcom “Home Improvement” at the age of 23, claimed that the Allen, who was around 38 at the time, exposed himself to her on her first day of filming.
The claim was made in an excerpt of Anderson’s upcoming memoir, “Love, Pamela,” which was obtained by Variety ahead of its release on Jan. 31.
“On the first day of filming, I walked out of my dressing room, and Tim was in the hallway in his robe,” Anderson wrote. “He opened his robe and flashed me quickly — completely naked underneath,” she alleged.
Anderson went on to claim that Allen’s reasoning for exposing himself was to get “even,” given that he’d seen her naked before. “He said it was only fair, because he had seen me naked. ‘Now we’re even.’ I laughed uncomfortably,” she alleged.
When reached for comment, Allen denied the accusation, saying in a statement, “No, it never happened. I would never do such a thing.”
The people saying why didn’t she say anything at that time? It was 1991 and she was a new actress who was only known for posing for Playboy… they would have blacklisted her so fast and ripped her apart in the press. So glad she is able to tell all now.

Many online have shown support for Anderson, pointing out that she may not have felt comfortable speaking out about the incident at the time:
“It was 1991 and she was a new actress who was only known for posing for Playboy… they would have blacklisted her so fast and ripped her apart in the press. So glad she is able to tell all now,” one person tweeted.
Another commented, “even if she reported back then society and the justice system would have sided with Tim. Reporting sexual assault/harassment especially if the assaulter/harassed is a well liked rich white man like Tim is often even today a career killer.”
Anderson has now responded to the actor’s denial. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada, the 55-year-old said:
“He has to deny it, because look at the times we’re in.
“If he said, ‘Oh yeah, I did that…’ he’d be… I mean, a lot of these stories are just the tip of the iceberg.”
She added:
“It was my first day of filming and I was in my dressing room, and I came out, and then he came out of his dressing room and he had his robe on and he goes [flash], and he closed it and he goes, ‘Now we’re even, I’ve seen you naked and you’ve seen me naked, now we can start the show.'”
Anderson is a Canadian actress, model, and television personality. She rose to fame in the 1990s as a prominent sex symbol, thanks to her role as C.J. Parker on the popular TV show “Baywatch.”
Born in British Columbia in 1967, Anderson began her career as a fitness model before transitioning to acting. She made her television debut in 1991 on the hit ABC sitcom.
Throughout her career, Anderson has appeared in a variety of television shows and films, including “V.I.P,” “Stacked,” and “Scary Movie 3.”
In addition to her acting career, Anderson has also made a name for herself as a model and spokesperson. She famously modeled for Playboy magazine and has also been a spokesperson for various brands such as KFC and Virgin Mobile.
As well as her professional accomplishments, Anderson has also been a prominent figure in the public eye due to her personal life.
She has been married and divorced twice, once to musician Tommy Lee and then to film producer Rick Salomon.
Her sex tape with Lee was infamously stolen and leaked without her consent in the late 1990s.
The incident was the subject of the Hulu series “Pam & Tommy” in which actors Lily James and Sebastian Stan portrayed the couple.
