Prince Andrew’s name was dropped multiple times in the cases of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, and it’s been confirmed that the Prince will have to answer the allegations made against him.
A federal judge in New York has declined the request to dismiss a sexual assault lawsuit against The Queen’s son.
Prince Andrew, who was a long-time friend of Jeffrey Epstein, has vehemently denied allegations of sexual abuse made by Virginia Giuffre, and has tried everything to make the case go away.
Giuffre’s lawyer David Boies responded to the news in a statement:
“Virginia Giuffre is pleased that Prince Andrew’s efforts to avoid a trial have been rejected and that evidence will now be taken on her claims against him.
“She looks forward to a judicial determination of the merits of those claims.”
The civil trial is expected to be held between September and December.
