Prince Harry claims that his father, King Charles, made some shocking comments to Diana after the birth of her second son.
The Prince has claimed, in his new book
Spare, that the King said:
‘Wonderful! Now you’ve given me an heir and a spare – my work is done.’
This claim was made in the upcoming autobiography which was leaked to
The Guardian and is due to be released next week.
The news outlet claims that Prince Harry has explained the meaning behind the title of the book. That it stems from the now King Charles’ alleged comments about his son, Harry, on the day of his birth.
Spare is due to be published on January 10.
The newspaper claims that despite the ‘stringent pre-launch security around the book’, it was able to obtain a copy and leaked the rather shocking alleged information inside.
The Guardian reports:
‘After William complained about Meghan, Harry writes, Harry told him he was repeating the press narrative and that he expected better,’
‘But William, Harry says, was not being rational, leading to the two men shouting over each other.
‘Harry then accused his brother of acting like an heir, unable to understand why his younger brother was not content to be a spare.’
Harry also claims that his brother, Prince William, had wanted to talk about ‘the whole rolling catastrophe’ of their relationship but claims that when William arrive at Nottingham Cottage, he was already ‘piping hot.’
The publication writes:
Harry writes ‘(William) called me another name, then came at me. It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.’
