Ricky Gervais has has called people out for calling Jada Pinkett Smith’s alopecia a disability.
The Academy Awards ended up on chaos after Smith walked on stage and slapped Rock in the face, following the comedian’s insensitive comparison of the actors wife to G.I. Jane, given her shaved head.
Ricky Gervais was one of many celebs who have given their thoughts and opinions on the situation.
The comedian took to his Twitter to slam those who called the hair loss condtiion a disability.

“Someone said it was joking about her [Jada’s] disability. Well I’m going a bit thin, so I’m disabled. That means I can park right up next to Tescos now,”
“And I’m fat, that’s a disease. I’m fat and balding, I should get f***ing benefits.”
The Office star continued by saying that Rock’s joke that kicked off this whole fiasco ‘wasn’t bad’:
“You don’t hit people over a joke, however bad it is. And it wasn’t bad!
‘That was like the tamest joke I would ever have told.”
