Robert Irwin was left in tears after being given a 19th birthday message from his late father, Steve Irwin.
Heartbreaking footage was taken of the teen being gifted a video message from wildlife expert, Robert Irwin, which was taken before he died in 2006.
Robert was only three-years-old when his father was killed after being injured by a stingray when he was 44.
The footage shows Steve talking about the birth of his son, Robert and how he hopes that when he grows up, he follows on his adventurous footsteps.
He went on to say that he could be dead tomorrow in his line of work and that he would want his children to continue his legacy, adding that if Robert did become the next Crocodile Hunter, it would be the ‘proudest moment of [his] life.’
