Now, I’m no mathematician, but something doesn’t add up.
Selling steak for $1,975… but… paying staff… $16?
The internet’s favorite chef Sat Bae is looking for new chefs for his London Restaurant Nusr-Et, in case you fancy a career change.
The job was posted on caterer.com. The post reads:
Amazing opportunity for an experienced Chef De Partie to join Nusret team in the new restaurant in London. As a Chef De Partie, you will be working with some of the finest ingredients from the U.K. and abroad in the one of the most famous steakhouses in the world.
You will play a vital part in a large team and will support the Head Chef during service. To the successful candidate, Nusret London offers a highly competitive salary and excellent opportunities to develop a global career.
Just for reference, if you worked an hour at Nusr-Et, you couldn’t even afford to buy a side of sweetcorn or broccoli.
And if you were tempted to apply just because working with Salt Bae would be kinda cool… well, he’s already left. He stayed there for six weeks and jetted off to open another restaurant.
The chef was recently heavily criticised after the prices at his restaurant went viral.
