School Greets Nervous Ukrainian Refugee Children with Cheers

A video has surfaced of a school of children clapping and cheering as Ukrainian refugee children arrive.


Students and teachers erupted in applause as the two Ukrainian children nervously enter the front entrance of Don Milani institute in Naples.

Siblings Dmitri, aged 10, and Victoria, aged 8, fled war-torn Ukraine after Russia’s invasion.

The waiting crowd broke out in applause as the siblings walked through the front doors and continued clapping while waving Ukrainian national flags in welcome.

More than 2.2 million Ukrainians have fled their home country with that number rising everyday, and expected to reach 4 million in the coming days.
