Seth Meyers has revealed his way of knowing ‘you’re about to hear some bulls**t’ on Fox News.
The “Late Night” comedian absolutely slammed right-wing conspiracy theories about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, focusing mostly on a suspiciously sourced claim from Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo.
On her show, Bartiromo starts off saying “some people have told me over the weekend” – which the comedian goes on to ridicule her for:
“All right, that sentence right there is how you know you’re about to hear some bullshit,”
“First of all, you’re kicking things off with some unsourced weekend gossip?”
“That’s how my writers start off their Monday morning excuses,”
Bartiromo continues, revealing the ‘unsourced weekend gossip’ is that President Joe Biden’s administration does not see Vladimir Putin as an enemy, but “as a partner.”
Meyers’ responds:
“What on earth are you talking about? You think Biden sees Putin as a partner?”
“Trump is the one who called putins’ invasion of ukraine savvy and genuis and desperately lavishes praise on putin every chance he gets”
