Kristen Bell recently treated the world to a game of “spot the celebrity” with a jaw-dropping snapshot from a massive dinner party.
It’s no surprise that celebrities are friends with other celebrities, but it’s always a delight to see them enjoying each other’s company outside of work-related settings.
While it’s common to spot a couple of celebs getting coffee or taking a stroll together, Bell took it to a whole new level with her picture from a recent dinner party in Idaho. If you thought the famous Oscars selfie had a lot of star power, prepare to be amazed by this gathering.
Although Bell herself wasn’t in the photo, presumably she was at the head of the table behind the camera, the image compensated for her absence with a plethora of other notable stars. Some stars stood out more prominently due to their placement closer to the front of the camera. Friends co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox flashed their smiles as they sat opposite each other at the table.
A little further down, Jason Bateman occupied a seat a few places away from Parks and Recreation star Adam Scott. Across from Bateman, Bell’s husband Dax Shepard beamed with joy, while The Tonight Show host, Jimmy Fallon, occupied a spot towards the far end of the table.
But that’s not all.
Other notable figures at the table included comedian John Mulaney, actor Olivia Munn, YouTube star Mark Rober, actress Shiri Appleby, CNN’s Jake Tapper, and actor and writer Tim Curcio. Given the number of people squeezed into the frame, there’s a good chance there are even more stars that I might have overlooked.
Bell’s photo has left people astounded since its initial share over the weekend. Cole Delbyck, a Netflix editorial staffer, expressed his astonishment, stating, “This photo from Kristen Bell’s dinner party gets increasingly WTF as you go down the table.” Another person commented, “Holy crap, that’s a table of legends.” A third person amusingly imagined witnessing this horde of A-listers arriving at a small Idaho airport.
Fans have since discovered that the image was taken during Jimmy Kimmel’s annual group holiday at South Fork Lodge. While the gathering is undeniably impressive, Kimmel is no stranger to hosting large groups of stars at his home. In fact, it’s become an annual tradition.
Bell previously mentioned the trip in an interview with Forbes, revealing that “probably like 40 friends” attend each year. She shared, “Jimmy Kimmel and his wife, Molly McNearney, who are two of our best friends, organize it.”
For those of us who weren’t lucky enough to attend, we can only hope to receive an invitation in the future.
