Simone Biles has had overwhelming support since pulling out of three Olympic finals to focus on her mental health.
Biles addressed those who said she quit and explained that the reason for her withdrawal was because her ‘body and mind are not in sync’.
“FOR ANYONE SAYING I QUIT. I DIDN’T QUIT MY MIND & BODY ARE SIMPLY NOT IN SYNC. I DON’T THINK YOU REALIZE HOW DANGEROUS THIS IS … NOR DO I HAVE TO EXPLAIN WHY I PUT MY HEALTH FIRST. PHYSICAL HEALTH IS MENTAL HEALTH.
But one person that isn’t buying it is former Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo.
The former wrestling champion and UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion took to Instagram to call out the gymnast.
“I believe Simone Biles pulling out of this thing is like, I think she really needs to check herself. I think there’s time for a little bit of tough love. If she was my sister, this is exactly what I would do. So, I would never say something that I wouldn’t do to my personal family or anything like that. Or even for me, because I do believe sometimes we do need a nice kick in the arse.”

“If you start to think you’re the GOAT and the greatest of all time, then that’s on you.”
Biles has now confirmed she will return to the Olympics for the final on Tuesday.
