The new filter shows users as a crying, blotched red mess and many have assumed it is based on Heard’s crying face in court…this is false.
It is an augmented reality lens that changes your facial expression to a ridiculously over dramatic sad one regardless of your real facial expression.
You can use it on yourself or put it on your unsuspecting friends and the results are truly hilarious.

A spokesperson for the app has confirmed to TMZ that this is in fact, a rumour that is false. The publication reports that the filter has been in the making for 6 months…way before the trial even began.
Most importantly, Snapchat say they would never make a joke about a DV case.
