The man who killed serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer shared why he had to do it.
The new show ‘Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story’ on Netflix has received a lot of hype online, with some people hooked and others so disturbed by the content that they couldn’t make it past the first episode.
The series is a dramatization of the story of Jeffrey Dahmer, a serial killer who was convicted of the horrific killing of seventeen men and boys between 1978 and 1991.
Dahmer also admitted to being a cannibal and eating the flesh of his victims.
He would drug and sexually assault his victims – even sometimes performing twisted experiments on them.
The serial killer was sentenced to 15 consecutive life sentences but was beaten to death by fellow inmate, Christopher Scarver in 1994.
Scarver claimed he grew to hate the serial killer in prison because Dahmer would make fake limbs out of prison food, pour ketchup on to look like blood and display them proudly.
Scarver also carried a newspaper clipping of what the killer had done and confronted him with it one day when they were left unattended.

Scarver told the New York Post:
“He would put them in places where people would be,”
“He crossed the line with some people — prisoners, prison staff. Some people who are in prison are repentant — but he was not one of them.”
Scarver held up the paper, detailing Dahmer’s crimes and said:
“I asked him if he did those things ’cause I was fiercely disgusted. He was shocked. Yes, he was,”
“He started looking for the door pretty quick. I blocked him. He ended up dead. I put his head down,”
