The Simpsons is well known for appearing to be able to predict future events.
Such is the case for its latest prediction and unfortunately, if it is true, it means lights out for all of us…
According to the successful cartoon, it may be the end of the world on 24 September as described in the episode ‘Homer Goes to Prep School’.
The lovable character says in the episode:
“The apocalypse is coming. Maybe not tomorrow, maybe never, but it’s coming,”
The ep does not directly say the date of the supposed end of all things, however, many people online have a theory that the episode number itself is the clue..
It is episode nine of season 24 – hence the 24th day of the 9th month of the year.
