Another member of the cast of Tiger King has tragically died.
Jeff Johnson, a reptile dealer, appeared in the first season of the Netflix documentary series, about the ongoing feud between Big Cat Rescue owner Carole Baskin and her rival Joe Exotic, who is now serving a 22 year sentence at Grady County Jail in Oklahoma.
TMZ reports that Johnson took his own life in front of a family member, after an argument with his wife.
Emergence services rushed to the scene but were unable to resuscitate the Tiger King star.
Local authorities noted that Johnson’s wife said he had not suffered from any mental illnesses.
Johnson becomes the second cast member to die recently after former zoo keeper Erik Cowie died aged 53 in September 2021.
