Todd Chrisley asks Fans to Send Prayers After Bank Fraud and Tax Evasion Conviction

Todd and Julie Chrisley are asking for fans to “send prayers” following their convictions for bank fraud and tax evasion.

The stars have asked fans to stop sending gifts and flower arrangements and to please instead, pray for the couple.

The star said:

“The best gift you can give us is prayer.”

“we do appreciate the kind letters, the cards.”

“I want you all to know that the messages that we’re RECEIVING…the gifts that people are leaving at our doors…all this stuff is just overwhelming…we don’t WANT you sending us flowers.”

According to a court document that was attained by NBC News, the Chrisley Knows Best pair were charged with a felony on August 2019 on 12 counts, including wire fraud, conspiracy to commit bank fraud as well as conspiracy to defraud the United States.

The couple pleaded not guilty but were inevitably found guilty on all counts on June 7.

The Chrisleys allegedly conspired to defraud over $30 million out of banks via false statement and personal loans, according to the U.S. attorney’s office.
