Displaying her intricate tattoos, she struck a fierce pose while pouting her lips for the sultry snap. Adding a touch of elegance, Tommy adorned herself with delicate gold jewelry, including a dainty necklace and bangles adorning her wrist.
Accompanying her post, she simply captioned it with ‘Vacation mode,’ encapsulating the carefree spirit of her holiday. Tommy, who is engaged to a woman, previously identified as a gay man before embracing her true identity as a transgender woman.
While she has not disclosed the identity of her fiancée, she shared news of their engagement during an appearance on Rachel Bilson’s podcast, Broad Ideas, last year. During the conversation, Tommy revealed that she had realized her attraction to women, rediscovering a part of herself that she had not fully acknowledged since high school.
The couple recently celebrated Pride month together, and Tommy dedicated a heartfelt tribute to her fiancée on social media. However, to maintain privacy, she chose to blur her partner’s face with a heart sticker. The post was captioned, ‘Happy pride! We’re gay, and we celebrated by attending Gov Ball and taking plenty of photos of ourselves. LOL.’
In a TikTok video shared last year, Tommy openly discussed her fluid sexuality, sharing her journey of self-discovery. She reflected, “I went from being a straight boy to a gay boy to a non-binary person to a trans straight woman—I thought—to I guess I am a trans lesbian.”
Prior to her transition, the actress was married to Peter Zurkuhlen in 2016, publicly identifying as a man at the time. They had become engaged the previous year. However, in 2021, Tommy announced their divorce, marking a new chapter in her life.
