The police made a discovery in the motel room where Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss’ body was found.

The DJ on the Ellen Degeneres Show died tragically aged just 40 by a self-inflicted gun shot wound in a motel less than a mile from his family home.

Boss was a long serving member of Ellen’s team, and was a member of the huge talkshow from 2014 until its finale in 2022.

Ellen’s respect for Stephen was evident when she promoted him to Executive Producer in 2020.

Law enforcement told TMZ that left at the scene was a note that hinted at challenges the star had faced in the past.

Investigators have discovered that the DJ took an Uber to the motel less than a mile from his home and he turned his phone on to aeroplane mode, so no one would be able to contact or track him.

Stephen’s wife broke the heartbreaking news.

She said:

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us,”

“Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.”

“To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt,” she continued. “I am certain there won’t be a day that goes by that we won’t honor his memory. We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children.”

Just two days before his death, Boss uploaded the most wholesome video to his millions of followers.

Tragic. RIP.
