What Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss’ wife told the police was absolutely heartbreaking.

The DJ on the Ellen Degeneres Show died tragically aged just 40.

Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss was a long serving member of Ellen’s team, and was a member of the huge talkshow from 2014 until its finale in 2022.

Ellen’s respect for Stephen was evident when she promoted him to Executive Producer in 2020.

His wife, Allison Holker, knew that something was seriously wrong when the DJ had left home with no warning and stopped all communication.

She told police that there was no argument that triggered him leaving, that he left with no warning and would not answer his phone.

She was so adamant that his behaviour was completely out of character that the police considered making it a “critical missing persons” case.

However, a 911 call came in shortly after Allison spoke to the police. He was discovered less than a mile from his home in a motel.

Stephen’s wife broke the heartbreaking news.

She said:

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us,”

“Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.”

“To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt,” she continued. “I am certain there won’t be a day that goes by that we won’t honor his memory. We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children.”

Just two days before his death, Boss uploaded the most wholesome video to his millions of followers.

TMZ reports that the producer died of a self inflicted gunshot wound.

Tragic. RIP.
