During this week’s episode of Love Island, we seen a recoupling of Gemma Owen and Luca Bish. The fishmonger mentioned to his girlfriend that he was bored of saying “elephant juice”.
This odd comment has left some viewers scratching their heads.
People took to Twitter to share their confusion:
What is elephant juice??? #loveisland pic.twitter.com/vFOtFbcCMz

According to one viewer, ‘elephant juice’ is apparently a subtle way of telling the other ‘i love you’ without actually saying the words. The fan tweeted:
‘It looks like you’re saying ‘i love you’ ‘
Luca recently declared his love for real to the 19-year-old, saying “”You know I’ve fallen for you,” and “I’ve never been so sure in saying something,”.
The 23-year-old took Gemma back to the spot on the terrace where they had their first chat. So cute!
