Kate Middleton did not travel with her husband to Balmoral yesterday to spend time with the Royal family following the sad news of Queen Elizabeth II’s passing.
It is likely that the 40-year-old did not travel and decided to stay in London in order to look after her and Prince William’s children, Prince George, aged 9, Princess Charlotte, aged 7 and Prince Louis, aged 4.
It was also the children’s first day at their new school since the family moved from Buckingham Palace to Windsor, the children now attend Lambrook.
A source confirmed that Prince Harry also traveled solo to be with his grandmother and his family in her last moments.
Meghan canceled her scheduled event yesterday evening at the WellChild Awards, following the death of Queen Elizabeth.
Royal reporter Omid Scobie shared the news on Twitter that the Duchess of Sussex stayed in London.

A source has shared an update stating that only Prince Harry has made the trip up to Balmoral.
Like the Duchess of Cambridge (who is in Windsor with their three children), the Duchess of Sussex is staying back in England (but still not attending tonight’s WellChild Awards).
