WWE legend Scott Hall has sadly passed away at the age of 63.
The icon was placed on life support after a complication arose with his hip replacement surgery in which a blood clot came loose.
The 63-year-old, better known by his popular wrestling name Razor Ramon, suffered from three heart attacks as a result of the blood clot and his family made the extremely difficult decision to turn off his life support machine.
The sad news of Hall’s passing was confirmed by WWE who paid a tribute to the legend at the beginning of Monday night’s broadcast.
This news comes just a week after Hall was admitted to hospital for breaking his hip after a fall. One of Hall’s closest friends, former WWE star Kevin Nash, posted an update before the wrestlers death, seemingly hinting that the legend would not survive:
“Scott’s on life support. once his family is in place they will discontinue life support,”
“I’m going to lose the one person on this planet i’ve spent more of my life with than anyone else. My heart is broken and i’m so very f***ing sad. i love scott with all my heart but now i have to prepare my life without him in the present,”
“i’ve been blessed to have a friend that took me at face value and i him. when we jumped to wcw we didn’t care who liked or hated us.”
“as we prepare for life without him just remember there goes a great guy you ain’t going to see another one like him again.”
“see ya down the road scott. i couldn’t love a human being any more than i do you.”
Heartbreaking. RIP to the legend.
