Zoe Kravitz Did Not Hold Back About Will Smith’s Oscars Slap

Zoe Kravitz, like many celebs, has spoken up about the Chris Rock/Will Smith fiasco which took place on Sunday, where Smith walked on stage and slapped Rock across the face.

The now infamous slap took place at the Oscars awards ceremony. Rock made an insensitive remark about Jada Pinkett Smith, comparing her to G.I Jane – Jada has been open about her struggles with alopecia and didn’t appreciate being used as the punchline.

Over two separate Instagram posts, Kravitz shared sarcastic comments about the incident:

“here’s a picture of my dress at the show where we are apparently assaulting people on stage now,”

“and here is a picture of my dress at the party after the award show -where we are apparently screaming profanities and assaulting people on stage now.”

People on Twitter were quick to commend Kravitz as she was one of the few people who did not stand for Smith when he received his Oscar:

The comedian has refused to press charges after he was assaulted on stage in front of millions. Smith has since apologized to the Academy and Rock himself, but has potentially tarnished a career that he’s spent decades building…
