Alec Musser, best known for his role as Del Henry in the soap opera “All My Children,” has passed away at the age of 50.
His fiancée, Paige Press, confirmed his death, which occurred at his home in Del Mar, California. Musser’s uncle, Robert, also confirmed the news, though the cause of death has not yet been revealed.
Musser appeared in 43 episodes of “All My Children” between 2005 and 2007, having won the role through the second season of the SOAPnet original series “I Wanna Be a Soap Star.” His acting career also included roles in TV shows and movies such as “Grown Ups,” “Rita Rocks,” “Desperate Housewives,” and “Road to the Altar.”
In addition to his acting career, Musser was a fitness model and bodybuilder, gracing the covers of several magazines like Men’s Health, Men’s Workout, and Exercise Health. Despite not having acted in a while, he maintained a strong presence on social media, where he often shared his health and fitness journey and photos of loved ones with his 2,000 Instagram followers.
Musser’s last social media post was a photo of himself surfing on a hoverboard during a winter sunset, captioned “Silhouette by Baja Winter twilight.” Following the news of his death, many of Musser’s fans expressed their condolences in the comment section of his last post. One follower wrote, “I’m in shock brother. You were a dear friend and will always be remembered.
