MrBeast and Amazon are facing a lawsuit filed by contestants of their upcoming game show, Beast Games, who claim they were mistreated during production. The lawsuit, filed as a class action by five contestants, alleges that several participants were hospitalized due to dehydration, lack of food, and other health issues. The suit mentions that local hospitals reported multiple contestants arriving with complications, including two cases of seizures. Contestants also accused the production of denying food to diabetics and water to others, creating dangerous conditions.

The plaintiffs claim the show subjected them to a hostile environment, especially for female contestants, who reported experiencing sexual harassment and discrimination. The lawsuit also accuses the production of failing to pay minimum wages and overtime, denying meal and rest breaks, and causing emotional distress. The contestants argue that while they expected a challenging competition, the reality was far more severe, with some describing the treatment as degrading and inhumane.

One female contestant expressed her disappointment, stating she joined the show as a fan of MrBeast but felt disrespected and mistreated. She and others were shocked by the conditions, feeling undervalued as participants and employees. Despite signing contracts acknowledging the competition’s difficulty, they were unprepared for the physical and mental toll it would take.

MrBeast and Amazon have yet to comment on the allegations, and the lawsuit’s outcome remains to be seen. The case has raised concerns about the treatment of participants in reality shows and the responsibilities of producers to ensure their well-being.
