Tesla’s Cybertruck has faced yet another wave of online mockery after a video surfaced showing the truck needing a tow up a small snowy slope. The footage, originally posted on Instagram, captured the vehicle struggling to gain traction, with its wheels spinning helplessly. A Ford pickup truck had to tow the stranded Cybertruck, adding fuel to ongoing rivalry and social media jabs between Tesla and Ford.

The caption accompanying the video suggested the issue stemmed from a software bug affecting traction control. It also noted that the Cybertruck lacked recovery points, making the towing process more difficult. Critics on Reddit mocked the situation, with one user jokingly asking if a Ford recovery truck comes as part of Tesla’s premium package.

Defenders of the Cybertruck pointed out it was a prototype version and likely not equipped with the full software for off-road conditions. Others, however, were less forgiving, with some calling it embarrassing for a vehicle marketed as “built for adventure.”

This incident follows other recent challenges for the Cybertruck, including a viral video of one sinking into soft ground. While Tesla has yet to comment, the event has sparked further debates over the vehicle’s off-road capabilities and readiness for real-world challenges.
