Dave Bautista has recently shed a significant amount of weight, and fans have noticed the transformation. The actor, known for his roles in Guardians of the Galaxy and Dune, explained that he slimmed down for both a specific role and personal reasons. While promoting his new film The Killer’s Game, Bautista revealed he felt “uncomfortably big” after gaining weight for a previous role in Knock at the Cabin.
He admitted that gaining weight quickly by eating “french fries and pancakes” wasn’t the best approach, and it took a long time to lose it. As he slimmed down, Bautista began feeling better physically and noticed he looked better on camera alongside other actors.
Despite standing at 6’4″ and weighing 240 lbs, Bautista mentioned that people have commented on his smaller appearance due to how much larger he used to be. He joked that next to typical actors, he still looks massive, which can be distracting.
Bautista is continuing to trim down, working hard to maintain his physique, and keeping his calorie intake restricted. He emphasized that, despite fans’ concerns, he’s feeling healthier and happier with his current weight.
