Dave Coulier, beloved for his role as Joey Gladstone on Full House, has been diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a highly aggressive cancer. Coulier shared that his journey began in October after an upper respiratory infection revealed swollen lymph nodes. “It was overwhelming,” he stated, recounting his shock when doctors confirmed his diagnosis of B-cell lymphoma. Soon after, Coulier began chemotherapy and took a “preemptive strike” by shaving his head, approaching the battle with a blend of humor and resilience.

Breaking the news to his wife, Melissa, was challenging, as she initially thought he was joking. Since then, Melissa has taken charge of his care, managing his appointments, nutrition, and treatments, showing remarkable support. Coulier, known for his humor, quipped on the Today show, “In four short weeks I’ve gone from a Virgo to a Cancer.” Despite the difficult prognosis, he’s maintained positivity, saying, “I’ve had an incredible life… and I’m OK if this is the end of the journey.”
