Sean “Diddy” Combs’ children recently addressed the public regarding the circulation of false rumors about their late mother, Kim Porter. In a joint statement shared on their social media, Quincy Brown and Christian, Jessie, and D’Lila Combs condemned the rumors sparked by a self-published memoir that falsely claims to have been written by Porter. The siblings emphasized that their mother did not author the book and criticized those spreading conspiracy theories about her passing, which was attributed to lobar pneumonia in 2018.

The publication of the so-called memoir, “Kim’s Lost Words: A journey for justice, from the other side,” has fueled speculations and misinformation. The book, written under a pseudonym and currently popular on Amazon, has been denounced by Porter’s children as a complete fabrication. The false claims in the book and online rumors have been particularly hurtful to the family, who want their mother remembered for her loving and kind nature rather than for unfounded and damaging speculation.

The children’s statement came shortly after Diddy’s arrest on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, but they did not address the accusations against their father. Instead, they focused on defending their mother’s memory from the harmful falsehoods surrounding her death. They expressed their deep sadness over how the tragic loss of their mother has been turned into a spectacle, asking the public to honor her legacy with respect.
