Even Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson found himself navigating the challenges of securing Taylor Swift tickets. The actor revealed in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight that he had to “pull strings” for the first time in his career to get tickets for a friend to Swift’s sold-out Eras Tour. Reflecting on the unusual situation, Johnson said, “It’s never happened in my career. Usually, I don’t have to pull strings. I just make it happen.”
The 52-year-old actor explained that a close friend had reached out, asking for help to see Swift’s final concert on her blockbuster tour, which concludes in December. Despite disliking asking for favors, Johnson made a call, and Swift herself stepped in to assist. “Taylor made it happen,” Johnson shared. “[My friend was] happy. I got the picture of the happy ladies who were there. I appreciate that about Taylor.”
Johnson also revealed that his daughters—Simone, Jasmine, and Tiana—are big fans of both Swift and Beyoncé. The family affectionately calls his youngest daughter “Teyoncé,” blending the names of the two music icons. He humorously added, “She owns it and will come strutting over.”
As Swift prepares to wrap up her Eras Tour in Vancouver, Johnson joins a long list of A-list fans who have attended her shows. Reflecting on the effort to secure tickets, he joked that the experience was a rare moment where he had to rely on a little star power of his own to make it happen.
