A grieving father has spoken out after losing his last surviving daughter in a tragic murder-suicide carried out by her mother. Seven-year-old Olivia Blackmer passed away on February 15, five days after being shot in the head by her mother, Tranyelle Harshman, in Wyoming.
Harshman, 32, had previously killed Olivia’s sister Brailey, 9, and two-year-old stepsisters Brooke and Jordan before turning the gun on herself. Olivia was the only one initially to survive and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment, but her condition worsened until doctors confirmed her death.

Her father, Quinn Blackmer, took to Facebook to express his devastation, asking for privacy during this heartbreaking time. “The amount of devastation we feel is unimaginable,” he wrote. He also thanked those who donated to a GoFundMe set up to help cover funeral expenses.
Quinn had previously expressed anger toward Harshman but said he was trying to focus on the present rather than his fury. Olivia’s stepmother, Katelynn Blackmer, also shared a heartbreaking message, saying they were grateful for the last few days they had with her.
