First Look at Universal’s Exciting New Theme Park Opening in 2025
Excitement is building for the unveiling of Universal’s latest theme park adventure, Universal Epic Universe, slated to open its doors in Orlando in 2025. Initially announced in 2019, this will be Universal’s fourth park, featuring an impressive lineup of 50 attractions spread across five uniquely themed lands.

The creators of Universal Epic Universe promise a world where guests can dive into an “imaginative world” filled with discovery, thrills, and excitement. Among the five themed lands is the enchanting ‘Celestial Park,’ described as a mythical realm adorned with sprawling gardens, meandering waterways, and pathways, all designed to bring the essence of a park into the theme park experience. Visitors will be treated to a blend of astronomical and mythological architecture, thrilling rides like a shooting comet roller coaster, exquisite dining options, and exclusive shopping experiences.

The adventure continues as guests explore the other four worlds through magical ‘portals’: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How To Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe, each offering its own unique attractions and experiences.

Highlighted attractions include ‘Starfall Racers,’ a high-speed, dual-launch racing rollercoaster that reaches speeds of up to 62 mph and heights of 133 feet. The ‘Constellation Carousel,’ noted as the park’s grand centerpiece, offers a unique ride experience with forward, backward, and 360-degree rotations. Additionally, ‘Astronomica’ presents an interactive wet-play area that also serves as a giant compass rose, complete with dancing crystal blue fountains that entertain and cool guests.

Accommodations are equally impressive, with the Universal Helios Grand Hotel providing 500 rooms of luxury, stunning views, and an exclusive park entrance for guests.

The first look video has already sparked a wave of enthusiasm among viewers, with comments praising the park’s ambitious vision and the level of detail in its creation. One viewer expressed being “absolutely blown away by the level of heart they put into this,” anticipating that it will be “EPIC!” Others highlighted the production quality, visuals, and the promise of a park inspired by iconic movies, both classic and contemporary.

As Universal Studios Hollywood employees and fans alike plan their visits, the anticipation for Universal Epic Universe continues to grow, with many expecting it to significantly challenge Disney’s dominance in the theme park industry. The grand opening is eagerly awaited in the summer of 2025, promising an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.
