During a recent appearance on FOX Business, author Alec Lace made controversial remarks about Vice President Kamala Harris, suggesting she “slept her way to the top” and calling her the “original Hawk Tuah girl.” This derogatory comment quickly drew reactions from the show’s hosts, with Dagen McDowell labeling the remark “harsh” and “tough.” Despite this, no substantial pushback was offered by the other hosts present.

The incident, which initially aired over the 4th of July weekend, gained renewed attention due to Harris’s ongoing presidential campaign and Lace’s own retweeting of the clip. Lace defended his statement to TMZ, expressing no regrets and criticizing the Biden administration, while also accusing the mainstream media of radicalizing people with rhetoric against former President Donald Trump.

The remark has been widely condemned for its misogynistic undertones and lack of substantiation. Lace has not been invited back on FOX Business since the incident. As of now, there has been no response from the Harris campaign regarding these comments.
